There are several places where you can get kettlebells that I know of. Unfortunately none of them are in Bangalore.

The first one to start manufacturing and the best one by far (imo) is Mr. Kaushalraj from Ahmedabad.

I’m a little wary of sharing a phone number that is subject to change on this forum. The link above is to his youtube page which is unlikely to change. Write to him, get an updated quote, get a bell and start swinging.

A friend sent me this quote from a vendor in Pune which I have pasted below. I have never used this vendor and therefore cannot vouch for his quality. Feel free to order and let me know if they’re any good.

looking into kettlebell training and need thoughts?

Im not a gym buff, but I work out at least twice a week usually. My asthma is a pain for me in the colder months so I bulk during that time rather than focus on cardio. Im not always able to make it to the gym due to my uni studies at the moment, and I was planning on investing in some training equipment for evenings when travelling there and back cant be done. I hear kettlebells are good, but I am uncertain about how i select the weight of the bell I am going to purchase. They seem to start quite light, is there a reason for this? should I be looking into a heavy bell if I plan on bulking up? What would be good exercises with a bell to incorporate into my workouts (I focus on chest, shoulders, back, core, arms a lot of the time, since I get my leg definition and strength from my running mostly)

Im looking for size at the moment

Yes kettlebells are effective. To build muscle, use a heavier kettlebell and perform fewer repetitions of an exercise each set. Use muscular effort to raise and lower the weight. To use a kettlebell to improve muscular endurance in your arms, use about 50 percent of the weight you can lift, perform 10 to 15 reps and perform the reps faster.

The heavier the kettlebell, the more muscle you are likely to build — if you can perform the exercise. You may be able to do deadlifts with a very heavy kettlebell but not triceps extensions, which work weaker muscles. Before you buy a kettlebell, make sure you can use it to perform all of the exercises you want to do with it.

How many kettlebell certifications are there?

Thousands? It is imposible to tell as every single one of them are just made up. There is no official kettlebell governing body so the certificate only tells you that a certain orgainzation took some of your money and agrees to let you display their name as your credentials.
