October 5th, 2008 at 7:44 am
Yes and no.
To use …
Yes and no.
To use them efficiently you want pro grade kettlebells with all the same size. The reasoning herefore is that it is a tool. A football does not become bigger or better.
Would you want an NFL football or a homemade football? Which one would be most useful? Think about it.
Then again building training equipment is fun!

You don’t even need kettle bells. You can make home made kettle bells for the fraction of the price.

Thats true but i …
Thats true but i would rather spend 500 on kettlebells than pay that in gym fees later. With the kettle bells and pull up bar thats all you really need unless your are a body builder. Kettles have your explosive strength training, cardio all in one. Beats paying gym fees and you can pretty much do everything with them.

OK next comment for Ericsgym :
You know what you talk about when it comes to strength, I can see that.
Now you know enough about kinesiology to answer the following question to yourself. And I hope enough about athletic development as well.
What activates stabilizer movements more, a bar on the front or two wobbling cannonballs?
Does a combat athlete need a 500lbs Squat or deadlift? Does he even have the time and requirements for such an undertaking?
The answers might make sense of the mess
