Question about Kettle-bell workout. I’m new to it I have an 8lb danskin bell it came with a workout DVD?
the actual workout is only 9-10 minutes long. I am wondering how manytimes a week should I use the kettlebell? Is this something I should work out everyday? Or every other day? Please also tell my why I should work out everyday or every other day with it as well. I like details

As a beginner to kettlebells
it is easy to go all out and try to do to much.
As you start, stick to 3 or 4 kettlebell workouts a week.
In the first weeks, work on your form and technique.
Focus on lead-in exercises to prepare you body for higher intensity workouts.
Make sure that your kettlebell workouts include the following:
Warmup – 10 minutes
Do lead-in exercises, work on your kettlebell technique – 15-20 min
Include exercises for strength – 10-15 min
Exercises for endurance and stamina 15-20 min
Cool down – stretch, drink water and think happy thoughts 10 min

I might advise , kettle bells are great, I been using my 20 & 25lb for over 1 year, It is not for faint of heart. Please enlist finding someone who is certified & trained in it to help you. These new DVDs come with kettle bells came do more harm then good. It requires more torque strength, & core strength -when using them. My trainer spent countless hours making sure I had the mechanics down right, before even moving on to exercises. Because if your aren’t properly trained, you can injure your neck, back, shoulders.
If you are dedicated, PLEASE DO IT RIGHT WAY..find someone can properly train you in mechanics, DVDs self teaching not way to go.
